diy: REDESIGNING SHOES

left: ORIGINAL DESIGN
right: w/o the buckle thingy

I don't like the buckle thingy on the black shoes
the design and the color didn't compliment each other
so I'm
"redesigning" it

TOOLS NEEDED:
scissor
glue
gems or rhinestones
(in this case im using rhinestones)

step 1: remove whatever you have to remove to have a clean base

this is how it should look

step 2: take your glue and rhinestone
there are no rules for this one

so start filling up your shoes
and do WHATEVER you like

FINISHED PRODUCT

YOU CAN ALSO "REDESIGN" YOUR OLD SHOES
JUST USE YOUR IMAGINATION
hope this help :)

----------------

TOTAL COST:
rhinestones costs P1.50 each
got it for only P50.00
(1$) for 50 pcs
I only used 36 of them 17 pcs each shoe

  1. the stones definitely give the frilly band on the black shoe, more POP.
    great idea~
just wondering, did you use like super glue, hot glue?

  5. hey, really nice. i was thinking of carrying out my passion for remixing or redesigning sneakers wen I bmped into this site. Can anyone help advice on how to make my dream and this one you do a reality(s)?

are there machines/soft wears and techniques for doing both. Is there an association or industry that caters for those who want to be in it.

    kip d wok up.

  6. Pretty simple and creative. I have a pair of closed toe shoes that hurt my aging toes. Only wore them a couple times to weddings and hate to part with the investment. Any suggestions as to how to redesign them to an open toe shoe??
